Placing voice and video calls
Connect allows you to place and receive business calls over the cellular network using your business phone number. This article provides details on placing voice and video calls.
Note: Effective January 31st, 2026, the Business Digital Voice MobileConnect App will be discontinued which will prevent further mobile and PC use. This change will not impact your use of Business Digital Voice on your IP desktop phone. To discuss other service options available, please call 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966) to speak with a sales representative.
How do I place a voice call?

- From the main menu, tap Directory and search for the person you want to call.

- Tap the contact's name and you are directed to the contact's profile. From here, tap Call.

- Then, select Voice Call.

How do I place a video call?

- From the main menu, tap Directory and search for the person you want to call.

- Tap the contact's name and you are directed to the contact's profile. From here, tap Call.

- Then, select Video Call.

How do I place a call from chat?
You can also initiate a call from a chat message. From the chat window, tap the Call phone icon.
Note: Depending on your settings, the app may ask you how to place the outbound call.
