How do I attach the stand?

1. Take the desk stand and slide it into the slot on the back of the phone. The back of the phone has a designated channel/groove where the stand's tab inserts and locks into place.
2. Set the tilt angle of the screen. The stand supports two positions:
   1. Low angle - Sits closer to flat, giving the screen a shallower tilt.
   2. High angle - Extends further out, propping the screen up at a steeper, more upright angle.

To change the angle, lift the phone slightly and reposition the stand's hinge to the desired setting.

How do I connect the handset, headset, and USB devices?

• Connect the handset by locating the handset port on the back panel of the phone. Plug the handset cord (the coiled cable attached to the handset receiver) into the designated RJ-9 handset port.
• Connect an optional headset by plugging the headset cable into the headset port on the back panel. Route the cable through the cable management groove on the back of the phone.
• Connect USB devices by locating the USB port on the back of the phone. Insert your USB device directly into the USB port. Ensure the device is fully seated in the port.

How do I connect the network and power?

You can connect your network and power using one of the following methods. See your system administrator to determine which of the two power and network connection options to use:

1. AC Power
2. Power over Ethernet (PoE)

AC Power:

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC5V port on the phone.
2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into an electrical power outlet.
3. (Optional) If you want to connect a PC through the phone, plug an Ethernet cable from your PC into the PC port on the back of the phone.

Note: Only use the Yealink original power adapter (5V/1.2A). Using a third-party power adapter may damage the phone.

Power over Ethernet (PoE):

1. Plug an Ethernet cable from your IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE hub or switch into the Internet port on the back of the phone. If PoE is in use, do not connect the power adapter.

Note: The PoE switch supplies both network connectivity and power through the single Ethernet cable.

2. (Optional) Connect a PC to the PC port on the back of the phone if needed.

What happens during the phone initialization?

Once the phone is connected to the network and powered on, it automatically begins the initialization process. During this time, the screen displays "Welcome Initializing… please wait" while the phone loads its saved configuration.

Once initialization is complete, the phone is ready for use and can be configured through either the phone user interface or the web user interface.
